Vice President of Administration & Finance Search
A national search is currently underway to identify the Vice President for Administration and Finance for Salisbury University. The Vice President for Administration and Finance will provide vision, executive leadership, and management/oversight while advancing SU's commitment to diversity and inclusion of the administrative functions of the University including finance and budget, human resources, capital projects, information technology, facilities, grounds, auxiliary services, sustainability, and campus safety/law enforcement.
The Vice President for Administration and Finance will also be responsible for the development and implementation of campus-wide strategies and plans for financial management and physical development. The Vice President will participate in campus and USM planning and decision making as member of the SU Executive Staff and represent the interests of the University in the local community, in the System, and state-wide.
The search committee is composed of faculty, staff, and students who will identify potential candidates for this critical role. The overall search process includes committee meeting (s), reviewing applications received by the first consideration date of August 16, 2020, conducting Zoom interviews, and then finalist campus visits that will include opportunities for campus-wide stakeholder participation with the format to be determined in accordance with campus safeguards and protocols that are in place based on COVID 19. Applications received after first consideration will be considered as necessary. Our goal is for the new Vice President of Administration and Finance to begin employment in January 2021.
