Summer Conferences

WELCOME TO SALISBURY UNIVERSITY! Over 2,200 students call our residence halls home during the academic year. The Office of Housing and Residence Life truly hopes to make your stay here a fun and rewarding experience. The following information is intended to make you aware of the facilities, resources, and services available to you as well as campus policies.

About Salisbury University

Salisbury University, a member of the University System of Maryland, is a regionally accredited four-year comprehensive institution offering 58 distinct graduate and undergraduate programs. Located on the historic Eastern Shore, SU's beautiful campus is some 30 miles from the Atlantic beaches and 2.5 hours from Baltimore and Washington, D.C.

Office of Housing and Residence Life

The Office of Housing and Residence Life (OHRL) assists the Office of Conference Planning in providing on campus accommodations to visiting conferences and summer camps. During the academic year our residential communities are committed to creating a home away from home that is:

  • conducive to sleep and study
  • healthy and safe
  • maintained to foster student growth and development

While the “customer” changes during the summer, our staff is still committed to the above items and continues to support a setting and learning environment for every purpose and group. While the Office of Conference Planning initiates the summer stay with visiting conference/camp coordinators, HRL staff will work with every visiting group to make certain all needs are met prior to, during, and after each conference.

We are happy to have you as our guests this summer, and we invite you to return next summer!
