SU Smoking Cessation Programs

Students

Salisbury University’s Counseling Center and Student Health Services are working closely to help those who are interested in smoking cessation support groups and nicotine replacement therapies.

Beginning in September 2010, the Counseling Center offers FREE six-week smoking cessation programs. Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate. For more information visit our Smoking Cessation page.

Student Health Services offers nicotine replacement products for students who want to stop using tobacco products. Students may make an appointment to individually discuss their smoking and/or quitting history, and be advised by medical staff regarding smoking cessation aids including nicotine replacement patches and oral medications. Students may obtain a one-month supply at no cost.

Faculty & Staff

Faculty and staff who desire to investigate smoking cessation through nicotine replacement may obtain referral information for community resources available in their county of residence.
