Learn About SALUS University

If you are a sophomore, start reviewing the graduate schools you are interested in attending to see if they have any admissions requirements that are not listed on the Upper Division Certificate for your intended profession. The earlier you are aware of any differences the easier it is to plan for them.

If you are a junior and are applying to graduate or professional school within the next year that requires a Committee letter of evaluation, don't forget to get your application in for an interview with us. The interviews will be in the Spring so look for information about the application process in February. To be accepted for an interview your personal statement must be well thought out and you must be enrolled in or have completed all or almost all of the required classes. If the interview goes well the committee will be happy to send a letter of recommendation to the school(s) of your choice.

The timeline is:

  1. January: review the required and recommended courses for application to your graduate health programs i.e. Medical school, Dental school, Optometry school.
  2. First week of spring semester: sign up for the HPAP MyClasses site (email: cmberns@salisbury.edu)
  3. Early February review interview application and write your personal statement, gather the information required for the application.
  4. Submit interview application by 5:00 pm March 1.
  5. First week of April look for interview invitation.
  6. If invited to interview, sign up for interview time by April 10th.
  7. Interviews are last week of April.
