4 + 1 Program

The 4 + 1 MBA Program was created to allow non-business students to complete the eight MBA foundation courses during their undergraduate careers which entitles them to a business minor (posted on diploma) and complete the MBA course requirements in one calendar year after undergraduate graduation. The student must still comply with all other MBA entrance criteria and participation in the 4 + 1 program as an undergraduate is not a guarantee of admission to the MBA graduate program. The 4 + 1 program consists of the following 25 credit hours completed during the student's undergraduate career. Students must then follow standard procedures for admission to the MBA program. If admitted, students may then complete the MBA program in one calendar year (two semesters and one summer).

- MATH 201 Calculus I* (may substitute BOTH INFO 281 Intermediate Business Statistics¹ ANDMATH 160 Applied Calculus)
- MATH 155 Modern Statistics with Computer Analysis*
- ACCT 201 Introduction to Financial Accounting
- ECON 150 Principles of Economics*
OR
- ECON 211 Micro-Economic Principles*
Required Upper Division Courses (must have junior standing)
12 hours total
- FINA 311 Financial Management² (Accounting, Economics and Statistics are pre-requisites)
- MGMT 320 Management and Organizational Behavior
- INFO 326 Production and Operations Management
- MKTG 330 Principles of Marketing Management³ (Economics is a pre-requisite)
  All MBA foundation courses must be completed with a letter grade of "C" or better to qualify for the 4 + 1 program.

Non-Business students interested in attending graduate business programs at institutions other than Salisbury University are advised to review that program's foundation course requirements as additional courses may be necessary.
