Award winning University Catering at Salisbury University is pleased to provide special catering to students, faculty, alumni and guests. From weddings to banquets, corporate meetings to social gatherings, University Catering does it all. All special events are planned and executed with great care and attention to detail. Our commitment to excellence in planning, preparation and presentation results in a delightful dining experience, whether it be formal or relaxed. Room Reservations
- To inquire about room availability, please contact our Conference Planning department at 410-543-6172.
- Campus customers may make a room reservation using the online request center on the Facilities Reservations Web site. On the Web site you will find a form that is easy to complete and a calendar where you can check what is scheduled for three months out. Also provided are floor plans and information about additional services.
Food and Beverages
We offer packages for all types of events and budgets, from simple meetings to luxurious galas. Our award winning chefs and catering specialists welcome the opportunity to create a special meal for your event- just ask.

Policies and Information
Our professional staff does considerable planning, purchasing and organizing to prepare an event that satisfies your wants and needs. To ensure a successful event consider the following when planning your event.
- University Dining Services is the exclusive supplier of all food and beverage items on campus. Catering services cannot be supplemented with food or beverages obtained elsewhere. Applications and guidelines for exceptions to this policy are found via the Food Waiver link below.
- University Catering is the exclusive license holder of alcoholic beverages provided on campus. A two- week advance notice is required. Valid proof of ID is required for service at all events. Absolutely no outside alcoholic beverages may be brought onto or consumed on campus. Bars may not last longer than four hours and will cease at 11PM during the academic semester.
- Reserving a room through the online reservation system does not guaranteed the services of University Catering. Campus customers should confirm, in advance of booking event, University Catering’s availability. Customers from the community booking through the Conference Planning Department are guaranteed services.
- All details, especially menus, must be agreed upon a minimum of 14 days in advance of the scheduled event.
  
  In compliance with state health regulations, any leftover cannot be removed from the event.
- Signed event contracts, payment and estimated guest counts are due 10 business days prior to the event. Final guest counts are due three working days before the event date. You will be billed for no less than this amount no matter the actual attendance. If attendance is above the guaranteed amount you will be billed for the additional guests.
- Payment is expected three days prior to event. Please speak to your University Catering representative to arrange for credit card payments.
  
  Campus customers may provide an account code for billing.
- University Catering is the campus source to rent table linens. Linens needed for guest seating, napkins, display tables and so on are available for a daily fee. Table coverings to display food or beverages are provided at no cost.
- Campus customers must make the appropriate arrangements for all details of their event. Tables & chairs (with the exception of events held in the Commons Building), technical needs, trash cans, etc. may be arranged through the online reservation system. One 6ft folding table should be ordered for every three food or beverage items. Discuss with your catering coordinator about the seating arrangement and our overset policy.
- University Catering does not provide decorations or centerpieces. Balloons, glitter, confetti and open flame candles are not permitted.
- Health Department regulations require all food served outdoors to be covered by a tent or permanent structure. Ask us for information on tent rentals. If providing own tent, please have in place three hours before the start of the event. A rain location must be booked for all events planned outdoors.
