Employee Recognition Program
The Employee Recognition Program provides opportunities to recognize Team Members dedication, commitment and contributions to the strength, success and reputation of Salisbury University. Recognition can take place in TWO different methods;

- Staff Who Soar Nomination – The ‘ Staff Who Soar’ nominations celebrate the outstanding accomplishments and significant contributions of our team members at Salisbury University. This initiative aims to acknowledge the hard work and dedication that enhance our community and foster a positive work environment.
- Viva Engage - For recognizing smaller, individual achievements, we encourage the use of the Viva Engage Praise feature on Microsoft Teams. This tool allows team members to express appreciation and highlight the everyday efforts that contribute to our shared success.

Years of service recognized are five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five, thirty, thirty-five, forty, and forty-five years of service. Thirty-year and up recipients receive an engraved plaque and may offer brief written words regarding their employment to be shared in the program and event slideshow. All other recipients receive a certificate and pin reflecting their years of service.
