Eastern Shore Child Care Resource Center

  • The Eastern Shore Child Care Resource Center (ESCCRC) is an SU-affiliated, state-funded agency that works with child care providers and other early educators, community organizations and families on the Shore to help promote the availability of quality child care services in Somerset, Worcester, Wicomico, Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's and Talbot counties. Maryland Child Care Scholarship Program

  • The Maryland Child Care Scholarship Program helps eligible families in Maryland pay for high-quality child care and early education programs.
  • To be eligible, a family must fall within a certain income threshold, based on the number of individuals in the household. More information on eligibility and application process may be found through the program website.
  • Scholarships are accepted at child care providers that are part of Maryland’s EXCELS assessment program. A searchable list of providers is available on the EXCELS website.

  • Mother’s Room
    • A private space for nursing mothers, along with a changing table and a small sink
    • Located on first floor, Room 111
  • Family Study Room
    Family Study Room

    • Room has soundproofing material on the walls to allow campus members with children to get work done without the worry of being too loud for others. Space is large enough for two families at a time.
    • Located on first floor, Room 116. Regulations and Reservation Policies
    • Study Buddy Playtime Packs, with age-appropriate books and activities, also are available for children through age 12.
  • Changing Stations
    • Changing stations are available in:
      • First-floor men’s restroom, Room 110
      • First-floor women’s restroom, Room 190
      • Second-floor all-gender restrooms, Rooms 250A and 205C

Perdue Hall

  • Lactation Room
    • SU offers a lactation room, with a changing table
    • Located on first floor, Room 127
  • Changing Stations
    • Changing stations are available in the large men’s and women’s restrooms on either side of the Bennett Family Auditorium, Room 156

Fulton Hall

  • Changing Stations
    • Changing stations are available in:
      • First-floor men’s room, Room 131C
      • First-floor women’s room, Room 131D

Sea Gull Stadium

  • Family Restroom with Changing Station
    • Located in Room 108 (available only during Athletics events and stadium operational times)

  • Each summer, SU offers a variety of educational programs for students in elementary, middle and high school during sessions throughout the summer. Learners of all ages are engaged, expanding their skills in the sciences, arts, leadership and communication.
