The Family Experience Portal, powered by Campus ESP, aims at keeping family members and supporters of SU students informed about all that our university has to offer while their student is here. The Family Experience Portal offers a wide array of resources to its users. Some of the resources offered include but are not limited to: information for registering for our Family Webinar Series, articles containing SU’s latest news and a range of data pertaining to your student’s progress here at SU.
Sea Gull Start-Up & January Orientation Family Orientation helps parents, families, and supporters learn about Salisbury University and how to support their student.
For Students Starting in Fall Family Orientation takes place during Sea Gull Start-Up in June. It runs at the same time as the student program, and families and students will be separated throughout the day.
For Students Starting in January Family Orientation programming happens on the afternoon of the first day of January orientation. These sessions provide key information about campus resources and ways to help your student succeed.
We invite you to visit campus throughout the year! Catch Sea Gull athletes in action during a game or attend one of our hundreds of free campus events.

The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. SU’s Registrar’s Office provides more information about FERPA.
Salisbury University’s parent giving program allows the parents of SU students to support their students’ campus involvements! Parent support is a vital part of SU’s annual fundraising efforts because it helps give students the best experience possible by providing enhanced funding for equipment, conference travel, research, and other opportunities.
Did you know? Tuition dollars cover only about 83 percent of what it takes to educate students here at SU; the remainder comes from private sources. Gifts from parents enable the University to strengthen and enrich the educational experience and help meet unanticipated student needs.
Please remember that your gift is tax deductible, and if you or your spouse works for a matching gift company, your gift may be even doubled or tripled.
Gifts may be directed toward the enhancement of specific academic programs, clubs or organizations, athletics, scholarships, student services, the Greatest Need Fund, or other worthy campus causes. Browse suggested causes here!
Read impact stories from current students and watch their video testimonials to better understand the exciting effect that gifts have on student experiences!
Athletic Support: For avid Sea Gull fans, the Maroon & Gold Club is SU’s official athletic fundraising and support organization.
Leadership Giving: Some parents also join SU’s Salisbury Circle, comprised of donors who make significant annual gifts of $1,000 or more.
SU’s Giving Day: To maximize your annual gift, you can incentivize others to give by pledging a challenge gift to a specific campus area as part of SU’s annual Giving Day.
