University Communications Department

Responsible for SU's comprehensive communications efforts, University Communications Department works to:

  • Amplify SU’s unique voice, image and reputation.
  • Partner across campus to synchronize marketing and communications efforts to ensure our brand promise is delivered.
  • Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies that advance SU and share our excellence.
  • Produce dynamic content across communication channels, spotlighting stories, achievements and initiatives that raise awareness about SU regionally and nationally.

What We Do

At Salisbury University, University Communications is comprised of Public Relations, Creative Services and Brand Strategy, and Digital Strategy. We collaborate with stakeholders across campus to amplify the SU experience with creativity and enthusiasm.

The Public Relations Office officially promotes news and events on behalf of Salisbury University.

  • Media relations
  • Crisis and emergency communications
  • Publicize SU events and achievements to external audiences
  • Produce SU News, the weekly newsletter for external campus constituents
  • Collaborate with all areas of campus to tell the SU story

The Creative Services and Brand Strategy Office provides support with print and digital communications and design.

  • Produce The Sea Gull Magazine and other campus publications
  • Graphic design & editing ( Business cards, Posters and fliers, Newsletters and magazines, T-shirts and promos)
  • Brand and Logo design and management
  • Digital signage messaging
  • Copies and Prints (Exams, Handouts, Fliers and Posters)
