Salisbury University is home to a variety of performing arts ensembles, involving students, faculty and staff, as well as community members and professionals. Check us out!
Brown and Church Carillon
Housed in the iconic tower of the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons, the majestic 48-bell Brown and Church Carillon is the only traditional carillon on a Maryland campus. Two of its bells were cast by the same British foundry that made London’s Big Ben and America’s original Liberty Bell. Music rings daily, but for a real treat, catch a live performance.
Opera lovers rejoice! Puccini’s Suor Angelica and Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas are just some examples of the works SU’s Opera Workshop has brought to local audiences. Find information about upcoming performances and tickets via the SU Box Office.
