Bio
Dr. Koh (she/her) joined the School of Social Work at Salisbury University as an Associate Professor in Fall 2021. She was previously at Augsburg University (Minneapolis, Minnesota) where she held a three-year university appointment (2018-2021) as the Batalden Scholar in Applied Ethics. In this role, Dr. Koh focused on non-Western applied ethics including Buddhist, Neo-Confucian, and Hmong shaman perspectives. At Augsburg, she co-facilitated Intergroup Dialogue (IGD) for several years; she received IGD training at the University of Michigan’s National Intergroup Dialogue Institute. She was also trained as a Qualified Administrator (QA) for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). Continuing her ethics and diversity work at SU, Dr. Koh has served as the Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (JEDI) Coordinator for the College of Health and Human Services. She currently serves as an Office of Diversity & Inclusion (ODI) Faculty Fellow. Dr. Koh has clinical experience in multiple settings including schools, community and hospital-based clinics, group homes and shelters, and private practice. She has lived and travelled extensively abroad. Dr. Koh is the author of an upcoming textbook on Anti-Oppressive Social Work Ethics (Columbia University Press, 2026).
