My teaching philosophy continues to evolve as I attempt to match changes in student interests with the demands of the 21st century workplace and graduate school preparation. My fundamental philosophy is to provide every student in each class with the opportunity to learn. I discover, develop, organize and curate content specific to my courses' learning objectives and guide students toward these learning outcomes through a combination of lectures, discussions and labs, incorporating active, hands-on and/or applied activities.
