Bio

Dr. Ellen Schaefer-Salins is an Associate Professor of Social Work at Salisbury University and has been at the University since Fall of 2016. She is also runs a mental health private practice for clients who are deaf and hard of hearing. Her teaching, service, and scholarship focus on practice classes, diversity issues, deaf studies, disability studies, and international studies. She also has an interest in the writings of Lewis Carroll.
