Kashi Khazeh
Bio
Dr. Kashi Khazeh is a Professor of Finance in the Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University. He joined the University in 1985. During winter of 1999, fall of 2005 and summer of 2010, Dr. Khazeh taught as a visiting professor in the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration (International Center), Mikkeli, Finland, Technical University of Berlin, Berlin, Germany and Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, Dalian, China respectively. Dr. Khazeh received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in August of 1985. He also received a B.S. and an M.A. from University of Tennessee, as well as an M.B.A. from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He concentrated his Post-Doctoral Studies in the areas of Management of Financial Institutions, Advanced Financial Management and Investments at the University of Maryland, College Park in 1987. Dr. Khazeh has published at least eighty articles in academic journals as well as conference proceedings, on a wide variety of topics (i.e., exchange rate risk management, short term asset and liability management, emerging markets, foreign exchange arbitrage, consumer mortgage & bank selections and trade flows). He served as the founding advisor of Financial Management Association “FMA” for thirty years. He has been an avid fund raiser for student awards, Perdue School and American Cancer society’s “Relay for Life.”
