Directors of Respiratory Therapy Programs are challenged to admit students with the ability to academically prosper and eventually be successful on national credentialing examinations. Similarly schools of medicine, law, and pharmacy utilize standardized pre-admission examinations as part of program matriculation criteria. This study is designed to assess the correlational relationship of scores attained on a specific standardized pre-admission examination with scores attained on the national respiratory therapy credentialing examinations.
