Collections within the Dr. Ernie Bond CRC number around 20,000 items and can be search by collection using the SU Library Catalog.
The CRC collections are mostly print materials and include board, picture, early reader, and oversized books, transitional titles, young adult and graphic novels, historical fiction, classical and historical literacy works, ESOL materials, and some specialized text books.
Genres in the CRC Collections include picture books, fantasy, horror, fiction, historical fiction, realistic fiction, mystery, folklore, biography, comics, graphic novels, poetry, science fiction, and non-fiction.

History of American Literacy Collection (HALC & HALCR)
Description: A new collection being formed to chronicle American literacy texts for the education of children and literature for children. It will include: 1) early didactic texts; 2) early religious texts and textbooks; 3) early examples of picture books that predate chromolithography, examples of chromolithography, pop-up books, and books with movable parts; and 4) picture books and serial fiction from the first half of the 20th century
