Students and Faculty
The Nabb Research Center was created to serve as a history laboratory where the students of Salisbury University could learn and practice the craft of historians. History classes often visit the Research Center to use resources that include an extensive library, archival materials, artifacts, microfilm and exhibits. Admittance and use of the materials is free to SU students and faculty - whether for a class or for your personal use.
We also offer the opportunity to win an award for historical-themed papers that you write - see our Awards page for details.
If you are looking for resources to use for your historical or class research, visit our Collections page.
Student Organizations Records Toolkit
Have you ever wondered why your student organization was started? What inspired it? Who were the founding members? What was their first event, tournament, or outing?
This toolkit is to help your group organize and preserve your student organization’s papers. It provides some basic archival tips to make sure that your history will survive past that last group meeting or away game.
If you are interested in donating your group’s materials to the University Archives for posterity, please contact the University Archivist.
