SU Is WSCSC 'Top-Scoring Rookie School'

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University earned the Top-Scoring Rookie School Award at this year’s Western States Collegiate Sales Competition at California State University, Chico.

SU placed highest among five rookie teams. Salisbury also finished second in the overall competition, vying against students from Baylor University, the University of Missouri and the University of San Diego, among others.

Salisbury team members included senior marketing major Bailey Graf of Forest Hill, MD; senior marketing major Josie Johnston of Cambridge, MD; and senior finance and marketing major Cassandra Ullrich of Camp Hill, PA. They were coached by Judi Billups of the Management and Marketing Department.

All are enrolled in SU’s Mid-Atlantic Sales and Marketing Institute (MASMI), recently named among the Sales Education Foundation’s 2017 “Top Universities for Professional Sales Education.” Earlier this year, the MASMI also became a full member of the national University Sales Center Alliance.
