Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Wicomico County

SALISBURY, MD---The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for Wicomico County and surrounding areas until 4 a.m. Monday, December 10.

Two to three inches of wet snow are forecasted, with winds gusting up to 35 mph. Snow-covered roads and limited visibility are expected to make travel difficult in the early morning hours, according to the NWS.

Roads may remain slippery during the Monday morning commute. Drivers are encouraged to be cautious and allow extra time for travel.
