Compania Flamenca Eduardo Guerrero Presents 'Flamenco Pasion' at SU
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s annual Hispanic Heritage Month Festival culminates with the dance performance “Flamenco Pasion” by Compañia Flamenca Eduardo Guerrero 7 p.m. Thursday, October 4, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.
The acclaimed flamenco dance and choreographer combines classical and contemporary Spanish dance, ballet and contortion to express the depth of passion and skill exhibited in the many styles of this traditional — and passionate — art form.
The troupe features live musicians and some of Spain’s most talented dancers, including one of Dance Magazine’s “Top 25 Dancers to watch.”
The event is sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Office and made possible, in part, by a grant from the Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council, awarded by the Maryland State Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
