Salisbury Film Society Presents 'Madeline's Madeline'
SALISBURY, MD--- The Salisbury Film Society (SFS) presents the 2018 drama Madeline’s Madeline 2:30 Sunday, November 3 in the Fulton Hall Film Center (Room 111) at Salisbury University.
An ambitious theatre director’s latest project takes on a life of its own when her young star takes her performance too seriously. The Sundance Film Festival nominated film follows Madeline, a member of a theatre troupe that explores identity through performance. Madeline goes through an emotional tug-of-war between the two strongest women in her life, as the lines of performance and reality begin to blur. The resulting battle between imagination and appropriation rips out of the rehearsal space and through all three women’s lives.
The SFS series is co-sponsored by the Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council (SWAC) and SU’s Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts.
Tickets are $9, $8 for SWAC members, and free for university students with ID. For more information call 410-543-2787 or visit the SWAC website.
