Ethics Training Available for Social Workers in Family Practice

Child holding hands with parentsSalisbury, MD---Salisbury University’s Center for Healthy Communities sponsors a professional development opportunity for social workers. “Ethics and Family Engagement” delves into the family practice and the ethical issues therein.

In this training, participants review situations and roles in which the social worker becomes involved in family practice and the ethical concerns that frequently arise. The virtual event is from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, September 28, and costs $40 to attend.

The Center for Healthy Communities benefits the local community through workforce development grants, professional continuing education opportunities and partner engagement areas via community service grants and community-based learning.
