Important COVID-19 Information for SU Employees
Tuesday October 12, 2021
Dear SU Faculty and Staff,
As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:
- SU’s face mask policy remains in place. Face masks are required inside all SU buildings except when alone in an assigned office or residence hall room, or eating or drinking in a designated area.
- Booster shots are available for all employees who received their second does of the Pfizer vaccine at least six months ago. To schedule, visit https://sutesting.timetap.com.
- Booster shots are not yet available for those who received the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Please watch your SU email for future communications on these boosters.
- Booster shots are recommended, but not required to maintain campus access.
- For those who have received only one shot of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna), the second shot is required within 40 days of the first to maintain campus access.
- Those who have gone more than 40 days without getting their second shot will lose campus access beginning Monday, October 18.
- This requirement is not applicable for those who received the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Please stay safe, and thank you for continuing to do your part to #ProtectTheFlock.
