Caution Urged Due to Changing Weather Conditions
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University students, faculty and staff are advised to be aware of changing weather conditions in the Salisbury area throughout the day on Friday, October 29.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a coastal flood warning for Wicomico, Dorchester and Somerset counties until 6 p.m. Saturday, October 30 as water may reach 2 to 4 feet above ground level in some areas. The highest water levels are expected with the high-tide cycle late afternoon and early evening on Friday.
High winds are also expected during this time. Individuals are encouraged to be alert for fallen trees and other debris.
