SU Hosts 'Afghanistan in Transition' Panel Discussion

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University hosts the panel discussion “Afghanistan in Transition” 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 16 in the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons Assembly Hall.

Panelists discuss the historical, cultural and sociopolitical context of the past and current situation in Afghanistan, including U.S. involvement in the region, the lead-up to the collage of the Afghan government and the future under Taliban rule.

All attendees at SU events are required to wear a mask while in the audience, regardless of vaccination status. Attendees may be asked to leave an event for non-compliance.

Attendees also must complete an online COVID-19 screening on the day of their visit, prior to coming to the SU campus, at www.salisbury.edu/visitorscreening.
