Dear SU Faculty and Staff,
As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:
- As a reminder: Salisbury University requires the proper use of face masks by students, employees and visitors in all SU-owned buildings, except when alone in an assigned residence hall or non-shared office, or when eating or drinking in designated areas.
- For more information on SU’s face mask policy, please visit https://www.salisbury.edu/coronavirus/_files/COVID_FaceMaskPolicy-10-11.pdf.
- Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 booster shot appointments remain available at SU after Thanksgiving break.
- Employees who received their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least six months ago are eligible to receive the booster of their choice.
- Employees who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months ago are eligible to receive the booster of their choice.
- Booster shots are recommended, but not required to maintain campus access.
- To schedule a booster shot, visit http://suvax.timetap.com.
- Those who need to cancel or reschedule their booster appointment should email Campus Health as soon as possible to open that time for others.
- Those who have not already done so are encouraged to get their annual flu shot. Many pharmacies offer the shot for free for those with health insurance.
- The next virtual SU briefing with President Wight is scheduled 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 18.
- The briefing will be livestreamed at https://salisbury.zoom.us/j/99924491769?pwd=cEpTa3dXZlUxODZsbE9pakphOGpLZz09.
- Please send questions in advance to StayInformed@salisbury.edu.
Please stay safe, and thank you for continuing to do your part to #ProtectTheFlock.
