PRESTO Students Perform in Recital at SU December 14
SALISBURY, MD---Students taking lessons through Salisbury University’s PRESTO performing arts outreach program will share their talents during recitals at 5 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.
The students range in age from 6 to adult and in ability from beginner to advanced. They perform piano, violin, viola, cello, theatre, guitar and voice works. Selections include Georg Goltermann’s “Rondo from Concerto No. 4, Op. 62”; “Deck the Halls,” arranged by Martha Mier; Shinichi Suzuki’s “Perpetual Motion in D Major”; and Brad Breeck’s “Gravty Falls Theme.”
PRESTO faculty instructors include Drs. Linda Cockey, Matt Michaud, Nan Richerson and William Folger; professional teachers are Martha Mancuso, Mary-Tyler Upshaw, Cheryl Florin, Elijah Fallon and Christopher Sajadi; and SU student teacher Geneque Garrison.
Sponsored by the Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts, admission is free and the public is invited.
All attendees at Salisbury University indoor events are required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. Attendees may be asked to leave an event for non-compliance.
All attendees must complete an online COVID-19 screening on the day of their visit, prior to coming to the SU campus.
