SU Celebrates Staff Successes
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University celebrates the following recent staff successes:
SHS Practitioners Earn Licensure Renewal
SU Student Health Services practitioners Amanda Clarke, Lindsey Parker and Kimberly Whaley recently received notifications of licensure renewal after completing more than 70 hours of training to enhance their medical skills and knowledge.
Student Health Services provides a variety of medical services for SU students, including treatment and referrals for injuries and illnesses, allergy shots, immunizations, diagnostic laboratory tests and psychological counseling referrals.
Sebastian Named University of Northern Colorado Scholar
Margaret Sebastian, project director of SU’s TRIO Student Support Services Program, recently was recognized as a College of Education and Behavioral Sciences Scholar at the University of Northern Colorado, where she is pursuing her Ph.D.
The honor is based on academic achievement, research involvement, leadership and potential for success in the field.
White Elected Tri-State ASFAA Chair-Elect
Mason White, SU director of financial aid and scholarships, recently was elected chair-elect of the Delaware-District of Columbia-Maryland (Tri-State) Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, placing him in position to become chair in 2022.
The organization provides training, networking, skills development and volunteer opportunities for financial aid professionals, as well as scholarships for students.
