Important COVID-19 Vaccination Information for SU Employees
Tuesday April 6, 2021
Dear Faculty and Staff,
As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:
- Yesterday, Governor Hogan announced the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine for all Maryland residents age 16 and older.
- The Wicomico County Health Department will hold two more COVID-19 vaccination clinics for SU students and employees Monday-Tuesday, April 12-13, in Maggs Gym. Those attending must be current in their required COVID-19 testing for campus access. Please use the links below to pre-register:
- For those unable to participate in the SU clinics, the Maryland Department of Health and Wicomico County Health Department continue to offer free COVID-19 vaccines at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center and former Tuesday Morning store at the Centre at Salisbury, respectively. Register at https://onestop.md.gov/preregistration or by following the instructions at https://www.wicomicohealth.org/preparedness/coronavirus-covid-19/#Vaccine%20Info.
- Walk-up vaccination appointments also may be available at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.
- Regardless of vaccination status, employees will need to continue to receive an SU-administered COVID-19 test with a negative result every 14 days (or every 30 days for employees on campus less than twice a month, with an approval email from COVIDTesting@salisbury.edu) to maintain access to campus buildings, classrooms and offices.
- Employees who have not been tested in more than 14 days and who are not on a monthly testing schedule should sign up for their next test at http://sutesting.timetap.com.
Please stay safe, and thank you for continuing to do your part to #ProtectTheFlock.
