Important COVID-19 Information for SU Employees

Dear SU Faculty and Staff,

As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:

• The deadline for employees to receive their second COVID-19 vaccination shot is Wednesday, September 29 (unless a later date was prescribed at the time their first shot was given).
  • Those who do not have their second shot by that date will lose access to campus buildings, offices and amenities.
  • Those who receive their second shot on September 29 will need to continue testing twice weekly at least until Thursday, October 14, when they will be considered fully vaccinated.
• SU hosts a COVID-19 vaccine clinic, with the Wicomico County Health Department, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. September 29 in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall for those who need their second shot.
  • Third (booster) shots of the Pfizer vaccine will be available at this time for employees who received their original shots in January and February.
  • Those who have not yet received the COVID-19 vaccine also may do so during this clinic.

• Any employee who tests positive for COVID-19 via a non-SU-administered test should notify Campus Health at CampusHealth@salisbury.edu.
