SU Art Galleries Hosts “The Fabric of Being” Exhibit
SALISBURY, MD---SU Art Galleries (SUAG) Downtown hosts the exhibit “The Fabric of Being” January 31-March 5. A reception is 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 18.
From tapestries that enact transtemporal drag performances to paintings that merge fabrics and oils, this exhibition presents five artists’ distinct approaches to reflecting the current moment of being.
The artwork in the show weaves together materials and meaning in ways that mimic the complexities of life, resulting in beautifully palpable and haptic artifacts.
Admission is free and the public is invited. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.
All attendees at Salisbury University indoor events are required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. Attendees may be asked to leave an event for non-compliance.
