SU's Jazz Ensemble Winter Concert Set for December 8

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Jazz Ensemble presents its annual winter concert 7:30 p.m. Thursday, December 8, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.

Directed by Jerry Tabor, the ensemble performs contemporary, classic and Latin jazz, along with holiday music. Many tunes feature solos by graduating alto saxophonist Josh Adewumi, among other members.

The program includes “Have You Met Miss Jones?” “Summer Wind,” “The Way You Look Tonight,” “Easy Does It” (featuring graduate student Mary Katherine Meyers) and a transcription of Ella Fitzgerald’s version of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

Admission is $10; $5 for seniors; free for SU faculty, staff and students, and non-SU students. The public is invited. Tickets are available through SU’s online box office at www.salisbury.edu/performingarts. 

Patrons are asked to park in Camden Lot F (Blackwell Hall).
