PRESTO Spring Recitals at SU May 17
SALISBURY, MD---Students taking lessons through Salisbury University’s PRESTO performing arts outreach program will share their talents during recitals at 5 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.
The students range in age from 6 to adult and in ability from beginner to advanced. They perform piano, violin, viola, cello, theatre, guitar and voice works.
Selections include Bach’s “Arioso” for cello and piano, and Spindler’s “Sonatina, Op. 157, No. 4.”
PRESTO faculty instructors include Drs. Linda Cockey, Matt Michaud, Nan Richerson and William Folger. Others include professional teachers Cheryl Florin, Martha Mancuso, Dr. Matthew Michaud, Christopher Sajadi, Debra Scott and Mary-Tyler Upshaw, and SU student teacher Geneque Garrison.
Sponsored by the Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts, admission is free and the public is invited.
All attendees are required to wear a KN95 mask, regardless of vaccination status. Attendees may be asked to leave an event for non-compliance.
