Bobbi Biron Theatre Program Presents 'Doctor Faustus'

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Bobbi Biron Theatre Program presents Doctor Faustus Thursday-Sunday, October 12-15.
Directed by Blake Harris, curtain is 7:30 p.m., 2 p.m. Sunday.
Often considered an unstageable classic, Christopher Marlowe’s Doctor Faustus tells the story of the man who sold his soul to the devil in his endless quest for knowledge, fortune and fame. The pre-Shakespearean Elizabethan play gets a twisted post-modern spin in this production, adapted by Nicholas Rudall.
The cast includes Jah'Kai Hall as Faustus; Matthew Banister as Mephistophilis; AJ Fontaine as Wagner and Knight; Bryce Young as Evil Angel and Pope; Rodolfo Rubio-Guerra as Good Angel and Third Scholar; Jake Nail as Valdes, Lucifer and Emperor; Allison Dincau as Second Scholar and Empress; Ben Hutter as First Scholar and Alexander the Great; Seren Gross as Seven Deadly Sins and Helen of Troy; Sophia Merbaum as Cornelius and Belzebub; and Briana King as Cardinal of Lorraine and Old Man.
Scenic designer is Andrea Sicoli. Lighting designer is John Raley. Costume designer is Blake Harris. Technical director is J. Michael Desper. Grey Reynolds stage manages.
Meghan Baker is assistant director. Grayson Crosby is associate lighting designer. Mimi Whalen is assistant stage manager. Chelsea Dean is associate costume designer. Michael Mitchell is scene shop supervisor.
Tickets are $15, $10 for seniors, and $5 for students, SU faculty and staff. Tickets are available through SU’s online box office.
