Jackson Chamber Series at SU Continues March 14
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Peter and Judy Jackson Chamber Series continues with a concert by harpist Melissa Tardiff Dvorak and violinist Sonya Hayes 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.
The performance includes popular pieces by Piazzolla, as well as lesser-known music from overlooked female and minority composers such as Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges.
Friends and collaborators for over 20 years, Dvorak and Hayes have enjoyed introducing audiences to a diverse repertoire that celebrates extraordinary compositions and the stories behind them.
The Peter and Judy Jackson Chamber Series provides opportunities for live chamber music concerts to be heard and enjoyed on the Eastern Shore.
