SU Green Fund Submissions Accepted Through February 28
SALISBURY, MD---Have an idea for a “green” project at SU? The University has “green” to invest!
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit their ideas for projects to help make the campus more sustainable for a chance to receive a grant from the SU Green Fund. Money for this student-led initiative comes from some $200,000 SU has collected in sustainability fees. All proposal teams must include at least one student and at least one faculty or staff advisor.
“This is an opportunity for students to leave their mark on SU,” said Chris Homeister, director of SU’s campus sustainability program. “We are looking for ideas that can improve campus in an effort to increase sustainability and resiliency to climate change. One idea can change the campus and make SU even better for many years to come.”
Submissions for the next round of funding are due Tuesday, February 28. For an application and more information visit www.salisbury.edu/greenfund.
