SU's Fulton Faculty Colloquium Spring Speakers Announced

SALISBURY, MD---Faculty in Salisbury University’s Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts share their research and expertise during this semester’s Fulton Faculty Colloquium series.
Presentations are 3:30 the first Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise noted, in Conway Hall Room 152.
Speakers and topics include:
- February 14 – John Raley (Music, Theatre and Dance): “Unreal Engine for Pre-Visualization in Entertainment Design”; and Dr. Aurelie Van de Wiele (Modern Languages and Intercultural Studies): “In the Shadows of the City of Light: Writing Marginal Paris”
- March 7 – Dr. Larence Becker (Psychology): “Extraordinary Machines: A History of Computer Models of the Mind”; and Brooke Rogers (Art): “Mura Vive: The Living Walls of Rome”
- April 4 – Dr. Sarah Surak (Political Science): “Comparative Civic Education: Lessons Learned from a U.S.-German Exchange”; and Dr. Emin Leliç (History) “Some Thoughts on the Question of ‘Civilization’: ‘Barbarians’ in the Ottoman Imagination”
- May 2 – Dr. Sally Perret (Modern Languages and Intercultural Studies): “In Defense of the Daring Arts: Translation and Poetry from Barcelona to Bogotá”; and Elizabeth Kauffman (Art) “The Visual Language of Conversations in Prison”
Admission is free and the public is invited. Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass.
