Weather System Brings More Rain, Gusty Winds Friday Night

SALISBURY, MD---The National Weather Service (NWS) has warned of impacts from a coastal storm for the Wicomico County area on Friday, January 12. 

A storm system is expected to bring another round of heavy rain, gusty winds and coastal flooding through the evening and into the early morning hours. Nearly 1” of rain is possible, with localized flooding possible due to the already saturated soil from the weather event earlier in the week.

A coastal flood warning has been issued through 4 a.m. Saturday, January 13.
