Perdue School Earns AACSB International Reaccreditation
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business has successfully earned reaccreditation for its business and accounting programs by AACSB International — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
“We are thrilled to have earned this continued distinguished recognition. It affirms the quality of our programs, faculty, staff and students and recognizes our commitment to delivering high-quality business and accounting education,” said Dr. Christy Weer, dean of the Perdue School. “This accreditation places the Perdue School among an elite group of business schools worldwide.”
SU is one of 1,013 AACSB-accredited business institutions internationally, and one of only 194 institutions with separate accounting program accreditation.
To maintain accreditation, programs must undergo a rigorous internal review every five years, during which the program must demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and a focus on strategic management and innovation, learner success, societal impact, engagement, and thought leadership.
