SU Earns Bronze STARS Award for Sustainability Initiatives

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University recently earned a 2024 Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System (STARS) Bronze Award from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
STARS is a transparent, self-reporting framework for colleges and universities to measure their sustainability performance. SU is one of only 351 higher education institutions in the U.S. with a STARS rating.
Institutions are evaluated every three years on factors including building energy use, food waste, recycling practices, education and other campus services and initiatives.
