Lecture on Navigating Worldviews in a Multicultural World at SU March 11

SALISBURY, MD---Drs. Jeffery Scott Mio and Melanie Domenech Rodriguez present their lecture “Navigating Worldviews and Identity in a Multicultural World” 4 p.m. Monday, March 11, in the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons Assembly Hall.
Mio, professor of psychology and sociology at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and Rodriguez, professor of psychology at Utah State University, discuss worldviews and identity in a multicultural world. Explore the complexities of our multicultural world and gain a deeper understanding of diverse perspectives that shape our global society. These conversations play a crucial role in cultivating empathy by exploring diverse perspectives, thereby reducing stereotypes and prejudice and promoting tolerance and cultural competence.
