Agbeli Continues Percussion Festival Friday, April 13

SALISBURY, MD---The 2018 Salisbury Percussion Festival at Salisbury University continues with a concert by guest artist Nani Agbeli 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 13, in the Black Box Theatre of Fulton Hall.

The director of West African music at the California Institute of the Arts’ Herb Alpert School of Music, Agbeli has taught Ghanaian drumming and dancing, and led performing ensembles at universities including Tufts and Harvard. The Ghanaian native also served as artistic director and lead dancer of Boston’s Agbekor Drum and Dance Society.
