Alumni Invited to Learn Ballroom Dancing Starting May 5

SALISBURY, MD---From the waltz to the rumba, members of the Salisbury University Alumni Association’s Delmarva Chapter are invited to learn the finer points of ballroom dancing Mondays from May 5-June 2 at Asbury United Methodist Church on Camden Avenue.

Taught by SU alumna Pam Wood (’81) of Ballroom Made Simple, the course is for beginners, and a different dance is covered each week:
• May 5 – Fox trot
• May 12 – Swing
• May 19 – Rumba
• May 26 – No Class (Memorial Day)
• June 2 – Waltz

Classes are held 7-8 p.m., followed by a “practice party” from 8-8:30 p.m. at the church. Those attending should use the south parking lot entrance. Cost is $60 per person, and payment must be made before the first class. The course is limited to six couples. Registration deadline is Wednesday, April 30.
