'Food for Fines' Returns to Library Through May 31
SALISBURY, MD---Outstanding library fees at Salisbury University? Why not pay with food?
Blackwell Library hosts “Food for Fines” through Sunday, May 31. Students and community users with late fines accrued in the past 30 days may help feed the hungry by bringing in non-expired canned and other non-perishable food to the Circulation Desk. Each item of food waives $2 in fines owed, with a maximum of $10. Donations need not be limited to fine amounts. The offer is valid only on SU fines.
Community borrowers from Wicomico, Somerset, Worcester and Dorchester counties are encouraged to participate. Collected food will be given to the Maryland Food Bank.
