'HR Issues For Small Businesses' Workshop is April 27

SALISBURY, MD---The Small Business Development Center at Salisbury University, Dorchester First! and Chesapeake College co-sponsor the workshop “Human Resource Issues For Small Businesses” 5:30-8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 27 at Chesapeake College’s Cambridge Center at 416 Race St. 

Presenter Sharon T. Walters of Quality Management Resources speaks on human resources practices including hiring, firing and record keeping. 

“A business is never too small for human resource problems,” said Walters.  “Often good HR practices are even more important for small businesses because an offending employee is often a relative.  It can get really sticky.”
