John Surowiecki Continues Writers on the Shore Series November 8

SALISBURY, MD---Poet and novelist John Surowiecki continues this fall’s Writers on the Shore literary series at Salisbury University, reading from his works 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, in the Worcester Room of the Commons.

Surowiecki’s Pie Man was awarded the Nilsen Prize for a First Novel. He also has written 12 books of poetry, including Martha Playing Wiffle Ball in Her Wedding Dress and Other Poems. He has won the Poetry Foundation Pegasus Award, Pablo Neruda Award, Washington Prize and White Pine Prize, among others. His work has appeared in journals including Poetry, Prairie Schooner, Alaska Quarterly Review and The Aurorean.
