Lower Shore Child Care Open House Held August 20

SALISBURY, MD---The Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center (LSCCRC) at Salisbury University hosts its annual back-to-school open house 2-7 p.m. Thursday, August 20.

Located at the LSCCRC office in SU’s East Campus Complex, the event is open to child care providers and community members. It features back-to-school curriculum ideas and resources as well as gifts for the child care community.

“We work hard to promote school readiness and quality child care and are once again looking forward to sharing what we do with the public,” said Karen Goldman-Karten, the center’s executive director. Recently the center was awarded funds from the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore and the PNC Foundation to provide a mobile science museum. The museum’s exhibits are on display at the open house. Light refreshments are served.
