MPT's 'ArtWorks This Week' Features SU's Edward Brown

SALISBURY, MD---Maryland Public Television showcases the Salisbury University drawing instructor Edward Brown as part of the series ArtWorks This Week.

The episode featuring Brown airs 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 12. The show will be re-broadcast on Comcast’s CN8 at 1, 7 and 10 p.m. Friday, October 15.  CN8 is available on Comcast cable systems throughout the Mid Atlantic. 

The program features “Edward Brown: Trees,” an exhibit slated for display at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland’s Gormley Gallery October 24-December 2. The charcoal drawings were inspired by trees silhouetted against the backs of buildings alongside the Washington Beltway.
