Maddux Earns APPA Scholarship

SALISBURY, MD---Robert Maddux, multitrades supervisor in the Physical Plant, recently received a $1,300 scholarship through the Maryland/Washington, D.C., chapter of the Association of Physical Plant Administrators (APPA) to attend the APPA Supervisors Toolkit Training in Orlando, FL.

The scholarship marked the first earned by a member of SU’s Physical Plant.

“The instructors brought college-level business and leadership concepts to a level the mid-level supervisor could understand and apply,” Maddux said of the conference. “I have attended other leadership classes, but the benefit of attending the toolkit conference and interacting with my peers is priceless.”
